Michelle Brown

Michelle Brown is an Emmy Award-nominated reporter.
Brown joined News 12 Westchester in 2012, after freelancing for both Westchester and News 12 Connecticut.
During her time at News 12, Brown has covered a variety of national news events including Hurricane Sandy, the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and the presidential race.
Before heading to Westchester, Brown spent five years in New England. She was the weekend anchor and reporter at WJAR in Providence, Rhode Island. During her time in Providence, Brown covered major political, news, sports and weather events. She also spent some time covering major news stories at NECN in Boston.
Brown got her start in television at WGGB, the ABC station in Springfield, Massachusetts. While there, she covered a number of national political events including the 2004 New Hampshire Primaries and the Democratic National Convention.
Brown was born and raised in Jamaica, but is now a proud American citizen. She is strong believer in giving back to the community.
When not working Brown enjoys yoga, traveling, tennis and spending time with friends and family.
She is happy to call the Sound Shore home.
