White Plains reaches out to Peru earthquake victims

Local families with loved ones in Peru gather together to aid those affected by the tragedy.
The southern coast of Peru was hit by a devastating earthquake Wednesday. The death toll has climbed to over 500, and more than 1,000 people are injured.
The earthquake has left much of Peru without power, making it nearly impossible to communicate with anyone from the country.
The Peruvian-Americans are gathering in local restaurants to share any information they may have.
They will be accepting donations for the next week, and will work with the consulate to get the donations overseas.
