Tempers boiling over Peekskill gas situation

Angry residents of the Dunbar Heights Apartment Complex say they have been living without gas for more than a week.
Con Edison is blaming the Peekskill Housing Authority, who operates the apartment complex. The energy company shut off the facility?s gas nine days ago.
The housing authority began providing hot meals on Thursday, but residents say are still not content with the situation.
?What about all the other days we had to eat and spend money?? asked one resident. ?This is a big inconvenience, it's a nightmare.?
Peekskill officials say they hope to have the problem fixed within two to three days. Con Edison will need a job completion notice before they turn the building?s gas back on.
