Gas leak forces evacuation of Bedford high school

A potentially explosive propane gas problem caused the temporary evacuation of Fox Lane High School Monday.School officials are hoping to make room at the local middle school for the 1,100 students who were evacuated from the high school.Officials say propane gas leaked out during construction at the building. Emergency vehicles responded to help locate the gas leak and cap it. Assistant Superintendent Ken Mitchell says the main concern was getting everyone out safely. Officials say they anticipate the students will be back in the high school Monday afternoon.
