DiFiore to continue Taconic crash probe

Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore says she will investigate the wrong-way crash that killed eight people on the Taconic State Parkway.

Toxicology reports revealed that the driver, Diane Schuler of Long Island, had the equivalent of 10 shots of vodka in her stomach and was also high from smoking marijuana up to 15 minutes prior to the crash.

Schuler?s husband, Dan, says his wife was not an alcoholic. Dan Schuler?s attorney says more than 27 Long Island bars and liquor stores do not recognize Diane Schuler. DiFiore and police say they will meet with Dan Schuler next week.

sorry to interrupt
