Novack murder investigator updates case

The police chief in charge of the investigation into Ben Novack Jr.'s murder gave an interview to News 12 Wednesday, addressing the possible involvement of the millionaire's wife in the case.

Rye Brook Police Chief Gregory Austin says Narcy Novack, the victim's widow, remains a person of interest, especially after failing a polygraph test.

Narcy Novack told police her husband, a Batman enthusiast, had an argument with a comic book collector before his death, but Austin says that lead had gone nowhere.

Austin hopes the new Web site his department launched will help them find the person who bludgeoned Novack inside his Rye Brook Hilton room.
