Department unveiled at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital

A new emergency department was unveiled at the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla Thursday.
The department features new furniture and artwork, something to distract children when they make that scary trip to the doctor.
It was part of a six-month refurbishing project put together by the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
Each of the 14 rooms at the emergency department now have a theme, including one for MSG Networks.
Maria Fareri Children's Hospital serves 18,000 pediatric patients a year.
Madison Square Garden and the Garden of Dreams Foundation donated $175,000 to help complete the project.
