Police are searching for three suspects after a young man was killed in an apparent drive-by shooting in Mount Vernon Sunday.
The incident happened around 4 p.m. on North High Street.
News 12 has learned that 20-year-old Jovelle Stewart took a bullet to the head while he was sitting in a friend's car.
Though multiple shots were fired, News 12 was told that only one bullet hit him and that he died before he got to the hospital.
Police believe the suspects fled westbound in a Volkswagen, possibly heading towards the Bronx River Parkway.
