Teacher accompanies Lady Gaga at Super Bowl

A Westchester music teacher helped Lady Gaga sing the national anthem at Super Bowl 50.

Alex Smith, a teacher at Soundview Preparatory School in Yorktown, accompanied Lada Gaga on the piano at the football game.

The Peekskill musician says his trick to overcoming nerves was over-practicing.

"I ended up playing the song like 70 times on the day before and about 30 times the day of the show," he says.

Smith has toured with Lady Gaga before, but called the event the experience of a lifetime.
