Friday snowfall closes schools, snarls traffic

Friday's snowfall snarled the morning commute and shut down some schools in the county.

Snow totals around the area ranged from 5 inches in White Plains to only 2 inches in Putnam Valley.

Drivers are still being urged to take it slow on slick roadways.

The weekend is expected to be clear with temperatures in the low 40s.
