Officials: Man assaulted with baseball bat in Yonkers

A man was struck in the head with a bat and rushed to the hospital Tuesday night, officials say.
The alleged incident occurred on Ravine Avenue off Warburton Avenue in Yonkers.
Crime scene officers searched 52 Ravine Avenue and also brought a paper bag out of the home that was in the shape of a baseball bat.
Sources tell News 12 a 33-year-old man was allegedly assaulted with a bat and was in cardiac arrest when police arrived at the scene.
Sources say the man was taken to Westchester Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police have not yet confirmed if a suspect is in custody.
