Man accused of flashing woman at library

Police say social media helped them track down an alleged flasher who has a lengthy criminal past.

Authorities say 36-year-old Benjamin Thomas exposed himself to a woman at the Butterfield Library in Cold Spring last week.

Security cameras caught Thomas in the act, and police say they received tips after they posted his picture on Facebook.

Thomas has previously been charged with car theft, battery against a police officer and rioting in Florida.

He is facing six months in prison.
