Star Trek headlines new stamps

The U.S. Postal Service has unveiled its 2016 lineup of stamps, and "Trekkies" are going to be thrilled.
The highlight of the group is a set of four "Star Trek" stamps honoring the original TV show's 50th anniversary.
The book features classic show icons such as the U.S.S. Enterprise, the Starfleet insignia, a Vulcan salute and a crew member being beamed up. The USPS issued Star Trek stamps once before in 1999.
Other stamps feature the planets, teacher Jamie Escalante made famous by the movie "Stand and Deliver," civil rights activist Richard Allen and Shirley Temple.
