New synagogue, educational center opens in Ossining

A local Jewish community in Ossining has a new synagogue and educational center.
The Chabad Lubavitch of Briarcliff Manor-Ossining revamped the facility on Campwoods Road. An open house at the synagogue was held Tuesday night to showcase the work.
The rabbi says that the new facility features Hebrew school, adult education and other social services.
Officials say dedicated community members assisted in getting the program off the ground, by working on the building's woodwork and ceilings.
