Ceremony held for students inspired to become teachers

A special awards breakfast was held today for a local program that inspires students to become teachers.
The Today's Students Tomorrow's Teachers mentoring program helps students get college scholarships and resources to become practicing teachers in their own communities.
Currently, the nonprofit organization is celebrating its 20th anniversary. It has 800 high school and college students in the program.
More students in Westchester will have a chance to get involved because Wetchester County Executive Rob Astorino's Youth Board just granted TSTT over $20,000.
News 12's Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck emceed the event. The cause is close to his heart, he says, because his wife is a teacher.
