Police: Shots fired in quiet New Rochelle neighborhood

Police say a gunman unloaded a barrage of bullets on a quiet residential street in New Rochelle early Friday morning.
The shots were fired at two parked cars at the end of Morris Street near North Avenue, authorities say.
Neighbors along the street told News 12 that the area is "kid-friendly" and were surprised to hear about the incident.
Police have no suspect or motive yet in the case. There were no injuries reported.
New Rochelle reported Thursday that it is now the 11th safest city in the country as crime rates continue to drop.
