New Castle police ID woman found in ravine

The body of a woman discovered in a wooded area in New Castle has been identified as 55-year-old Anne Boylan. New Castle police received a report of a missing woman Tuesday afternoon and searched the wooded area behind Boylan's home on 9 Carol Drive. Police say Boylan's body was found in a hilly area near the house. A small creek runs behind the home and there is also a ravine with a 25-30 foot drop. Neighbors tell News 12 that Boylan may have fallen into the entrenchment. Investigators say the Westchester medical examiner has performed a preliminary autopsy, and found nothing suspicious. Officials are still awaiting the results of a toxicology screening.
