Hunts Point butchery holds educational class

A Hunts Point butchery is holding classes to educate Bronx residents about the meat they consume.
The family-owned-and-operated Mosner Family Brands has been holding its "Art of Butchery" class since 2012.
Highlights of the course include learning where their meat comes from and techniques to butcher it like a professional.
Mosner's master butchers teach students about the anatomy of various animals.
Students are able to ask questions about different meat cuts before hitting the kitchen and slicing it themselves.
After the class, all participants receive an 8-pound, vacuum-sealed and storage-ready bag containing the meat they sliced.
