2 female pedestrians struck in Soundview

Two Bronx pedestrians are recovering after being struck in Soundview. 



Police say two women ages, 47 and 41, were crossing Soundview Avenue at around 6:30 p.m. Saturday when they were hit by a 2010 Ford ambulette. 



The 47-year-old suffered head injuries and is in critical condition at Jacobi Medical Center. 



The 41-year-old was knocked down and then run over by a Toyota, but her injuries are not life threatening. 



Both drivers remained at the scene.
