Anti-violence rally held where woman was killed

An anti-violence demonstration was held Thursday where a woman was fatally shot earlier this week.

Dune Janelle Jacobs, 31, was shot in the head on Holland Avenue and East 213th Street Tuesday. Jacobs was only one block away from her home when she was killed.

The organization Stand Up to Violence organized the rally in memory of Jacobs. The group holds rallies in the 47th and 49th precincts whenever there's a shooting to raise awareness about changing attitudes.

No arrests have been made in Jacobs' shooting.
