Residents brave cold weather for Black Friday deals

Black Friday shoppers braved the cold weather to snag the best deals.
Many shoppers told News 12 The Bronx they were surprised how calm the crowds were on one of the biggest shopping days in the country.
Some people waited out in the cold on Thanksgiving night and Friday morning for big-ticket items like TVs or gaming systems, but more casual shoppers approached Black Friday like a regular shopping trip.
Most of the biggest deals had already ended by Friday afternoon. Some shoppers opted to bypass the morning crowds and take advantage of the remaining discounts later in the day.
