Snow falls across the Bronx

A wintry mix of snow and rain fell on the Bronx Wednesday, making roads slick.

In Parkchester, the sidewalks were a slushy mess, keeping many residents at home from normally busy business strips.

Many residents tell News 12 The Bronx that they left work early to avoid having to commute home when the weather worsens.

With overnight lows Wednesday into Thursday dropping to near freezing, drivers and pedestrians should also anticipate icing Thanksgiving morning.
