Morrisania double shooting suspect faces murder charges

A man who was arrested in connection to a double homicide inside a Morrisania housing complex elevator is now facing murder charges.
Police say 44-year-old Willie Stukes was arrested and charged in the killings of Tykquan Fenell, 23, and Darryl Page, 26.
The shooting occurred at around 11 a.m. Monday in an elevator on the seventh floor of NYCHA's Morrisania Air Rights development.
NYCHA would not confirm if the building has surveillance equipment.
Police say the suspect has a long history of crime, with a rap sheet going back to 1988. He has been arrested 21 times prior to this shooting for crimes including marijuana possession and trespassing.
Police say the shooting was a result of a dispute between Stukes and the two victims.
Stukes is being charged with two counts of second-degree murder. The Bronx District Attorney's Office says there could be an additional charge.
There is no word yet as to what led to the shooting.
