NEW: A winter weather advisory has been issued for Orange, Ulster and Dutchess counties Sunday morning through Monday morning.
NOW: Cold and quiet, clouds increasing overnight.
NEXT: STORM WATCH - Sunday and Sunday night for periods of wet snow and some light accumulations mostly North of I-287. A general 1 to 3 inches.
FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Increasing clouds. Cold. Lows in the 20s and 30s.
SUNDAY: STORM WATCH - Periods of wet snow, starting in the morning and continuing through the evening. Mainly rain and mix south of I-287. Highs in the 30s, lows at or around freezing.
MONDAY: Drying out but some flurries possible in the morning. Additional snow accumulation not expected. Highs around 39 and lows in the teens and 20s.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and chilly. Highs in the 30s lows in the teens and 20s.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, brisk and chilly. Highs in the 30s, lows in the 20s.
THURSDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH - A chance of a wintry mix towards late afternoon. Temperatures around 40.
FRIDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH: Wintry mix possible. Temperatures in the 30s to low 40s.
