Robert Rodriguez, a resident of Stony Point, is now facing murder charges following an investigation into a car fire incident that occurred years ago.

State police arrested Rodriguez, who is currently being held without bail at the Rockland County Jail.

In February 2021, authorities responded to a car on fire along the Palisades Parkway in Stony Point. Upon extinguishing the fire, investigators discovered the body of Ronald Mann inside the vehicle.

Subsequent examination revealed that Mann had sustained a gunshot wound, leading to his death being ruled as a homicide.
