State troopers converged on a Yonkers motel Friday and made arrests in connection with an undercover investigation.

People who live and work in the area near the Ramada Inn on Tuckahoe Road say they saw undercover troopers in a nearby parking lot Thursday for several hours. They also say that agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration were surveying the area a week or two ago.

Details of the police investigation remain unclear, but witnesses say it was related to drugs. Police officials say that no agents or troopers were injured during the arrests.
