State Sen. Pete Harckham is hosting a prescription drug drop-off today.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.
A deputy from the Putnam County sheriff's office will be on site to collect medications for their disposal.
This is an outdoor, drive-thru and drop-off event.
Organizers say they will not be collecting needles, aerosol cans, liquids, ointments or lotions at this event.
