State police have identified a Pelham resident as the victim of Friday’s night crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway.

Police say 56-year-old Michael Paradis was traveling southbound by Exit 16 in Stony Point at a high rate of speed.

Officials say his 2013 Acura MDX went off the roadway on the west shoulder, struck a tree and rolled over.

Paradis was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only person in the car.
