State police patrols blitz WC, HV roads for Super Bowl Sunday
State police are patrolling Westchester and Hudson Valley roads in full force for Super Bowl Sunday.
Officers will pay special attention to Route 684, Route 9, the Taconic State Parkway and the Sprain Brook Parkway. They'll be looking for cars driven by intoxicated drivers, especially those with underage drivers behind the wheel.
Authorities say anyone with a blood alcohol level of .08 and above can be arrested for driving while intoxicated. Drivers with a lower level may face driving while ability impaired charges.
