State police says a Beacon couple has been charged in connection to a death in 2020.     

Nicholas and Jamie Orsini are accused of killing Jamie's ex-husband, Steven Kraft, at their home.

Officials say the couple used several items, including burner phones, a steel trash can, an ax and a flame lighter to commit and cover up their crime.

According to allegations made in the complaint, the couple disposed of Kraft's car and body after he came to pick up their two kids at the couple’s home.

The Orsini's are facing charges for carjacking resulting in death and conspiracy.
