Stamford residents braved the bitter cold Monday to honor civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.
Organizers say although many people think of this as a day off from school or work, it's a day to remember what King did. They also say the fight for equality isn't over.
Stamford High School students say it doesn't matter how cold it is, it's about fighting for what is right.
Organizers say the march has been held for over 20 years.
They tell News 12 Connecticut that injustice doesn't take a day off so they wouldn't postpone the event due to the cold.
