Staff at Rye Town Beach say they're monitoring residents Sunday to prevent overcrowding during Labor Day weekend.

Everyone is urged to wear their masks when they can't stay 6 feet apart.

Staff tells News 12 the beach was busy Saturday, and they expected another big turnout.

County beaches will be open through Sept. 20. The last day to enjoy the county's pools is Monday.
