The only two hospitals in Yonkers are exploring opportunities to explore local health care.
In a statement, the hospitals write that discussions will determine how best to improve delivery of health care services, achieve economic efficiencies and expand services.
They will be meeting with members of the community, regularly agencies and other interested parties.
St. John’s has been providing service to the community for 150 years, and St. Joseph's since 1888.
