A Spring Valley woman has been convicted of welfare fraud.
A jury found Jermika Depas guilty of forging and falsifying documents to receive rent support and other public benefits.
Officials say she received close to $5,000 in benefits.
Depas is facing a maximum of seven years in state prison when sentenced on Oct. 30.
