The Spring Valley community gathered at the site of Saturday’s fatal house fire to remember the victims who died.

Nastacio Díaz, Maria Yosephina Garcia, Rudy Climaco, Darwin Climaco and Carlos Interiano have been identified as the five victims who were killed by the blaze.

Many residents met at the vigil to pray and mourn the loss of the five community members.

"The Consulate of Guatamala and the Consul General of Guatamala sent some of her team to speak with the family and to assist them in funding and paperwork that needs to be done,” said Pastor Juan Pablo Ramirez of the Strong Tower Christian Center.

In an effort to help students cope with the tragedy, the East Ramapo Center School District is also offering grief counseling at a number of their schools on Monday.
