One of the country's most popular races, the Spartan Honor Series, was held Saturday at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
The obstacles in the three-mile race include everything from climbing ropes to crawling through mud.
One of the participants, Alison Delia of Mahopac says she is competing with her friends. The group started out six people and now they are up to 21 people in their group.
“They encourage us, help us over the obstacles, help us get through everything,” says Delia.
The proceeds from this race will go to researchers finding a cure for Parkinson's disease.
