Sources: Dad in lawsuit assaulted school psychologist
The father suing the Peekskill School District over his daughter obtaining birth control without parental consent allegedly had an altercation with the high school psychologist.
Sources tell News 12 that Anthony Jackson allegedly assaulted high school psychologist James Tosto. News 12 has also learned that Jackson was once a gym teacher at the school and was reassigned after the alleged altercation with Torso.
Jackson and his wife Eve are suing the Peekskill School District over claims that their then 16-year-old daughter was examined and prescribed birth control pills without their knowledge in 2011. The Jacksons, who now live in Newburgh, claim Tosto and his wife, who works at a local health clinic, conspired to get their daughter birth control pills.
Neither the Jacksons nor school officials returned calls from News 12 on the matter.
