A Somers man has raised more than $10,000 to help front-line workers by saying "so long" to his moustache after 43 years.
Just last week, News 12 told you about Joe Mazzella’s "Trim and Shave for the Brave" fundraiser.
He hopes that others will follow his lead and shave their moustache, beard, hair, eyebrows or donate to this cause.
The money donated will buy gift cards from local restaurants and businesses which not only helps essential workers, but the community as well.
