? An excited and emotional Somers family gathered with friends Sunday in a new home to watch the show that made it possible.

The Arenas wanted to expand, but couldn?t because all their money went toward medical bills for 6-year-old Jimmy who suffered from an inoperable brain tumor. When Jimmy died in September, the community rallied behind the Arena family. ?Extreme Makeover: Home Edition? marched into Somers in April and rebuilt the family?s home, complete with a remembrance room for Jimmy.

The Arenas say they are thankful for the show and for their new home. The family is also expecting another baby.
