A military officer will go on trial this week in connection to a deadly incident that occurred last June at West Point.
A spokesman at Fort Stewart in Georgia says a military panel will hear the case involving Staff Sgt. Ladonies Strong.
Strong faces charges of involuntary manslaughter and negligent homicide in the crash that killed 22-year-old Christopher Morgan.
Morgan was killed during a training crash. Strong's role in the crash has not been disclosed.
Nineteen other cadets were injured as the tactical vehicle they occupied overturned during a Wooded Hills military training exercise.
