Slick conditions caused by the snow caused accidents on Orange County roads.
State police said Wednesday evening there had been at least 30 car crashes throughout Orange County.
In Montgomery, a woman lost control of her car on Route 211. Officials say she suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
On Route 17 in Goshen, there were near-whiteout conditions with snow blanketing the highway.
Drivers said they were taking it slow to get to their destinations.
There is a travel advisory for area highways, so drivers who venture out in non-emergency situations risk being ticketed.
