An investigation has been launched into allegations a member of the Sleepy Hollow ambulance corps took an emergency vehicle without permission and crashed it in a drunken-driving accident.
Arron Rodriguez was allegedly drinking at the ambulance corps? headquarters when he took one of the cars. A coworker notified police after Rodriguez hit a tree. He was later arrested.
Rodriguez, of Ossining, allegedly took what?s known as a fly car, a converted police cruiser used during emergency calls.
The caption of the Sleepy Hollow ambulance corps initially attempted to deny News 12 Westchester access to see the damaged car. He later relented and left the building stating he quit his position.
