(03/06/06) SLEEPY HOLLOW ? A 6-year-old Sleepy Hollow boy has died after falling into a frozen lake Monday.

Police say Julian Geach was walking a dog when he somehow fell into Freemont Lake located near Riverside Drive. Officials say Julian's father went to look for him and, after 45 minutes, found the dog by the lake soaking wet and without his son. A 911 call was placed just after 6 p.m.

Rescue crews launched a massive search before finding Julian's body approximately 30 feet from shore. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead just before 11 p.m.
