A 6-year-old Yonkers boy was rushed to the hospital after police say he overdosed on a Gatorade spiked with a date rape drug.

According to police, adults present at the time of the incident rushed the boy to Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville after he became disoriented and fainted in his home on Salisbury Road Thursday. He was stabilized and transferred to another hospital for further treatment. Authorities say the drug in the drink was a liquid form of GHB. The drug incapacitates someone who drinks it, which is how it got the reputation as a date rape drug.

Police say the boy?s father was not in the room at the time he drank the drug. They are looking for the person or persons responsible for lacing the drink.
