Showers, storms sweeping through parts of the Hudson Valley
Some showers and storms are sweeping through parts of the Hudson Valley on this last Sunday of June.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Ulster, Dutchess, Westchester and Putnam counties through 2:15 p.m. as storms moved through the area, but the warning has since expired.
 
News 12 meteorologists say Sunday the chance for scattered thunderstorms continues this afternoon into this evening. High temps are around 82 degrees for the day.
Then Sunday night will be partly cloudy and comfortable with lows in the mid-60s.
And expect sunny skies and warm temps for the first day of July on Monday.
