Consumers are roaring back to stores during the holiday season, prompting near-record-breaking sales at local retailers.
At The Westchester mall in White Plains, some shops are reporting up to a 20-percent increase in sales from last year.
And the momentum hasn't dissipated. Paula Kelliher, who runs the mall, says sales were so good this past weekend that they even exceeded Black Friday totals.
