Sheldon Silver endorses DiFiore
State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver traveled to White Plains Tuesday to endorse Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore in her re-election bid.
"I'm obviously very proud to receive this endorsement," said DiFiore about Silver's backing.
The high-profile endorsement quickly drew criticism from DiFiore's opponents, former prosecutor and Pace Law School professor Dan Schorr and White Plains lawyer Tony Castro.
