12h agoRockland County residents got rid of potentially dangerous medicine at the "Sheds the Meds" event Thursday night at Orangetown and Ramapo town halls.
Residents brought in old and unused medications from their homes at the event that was organized as a drive-thru because of the pandemic.
Thousands of pills were collected at the event and will be taken to an incinerator to be destroyed.
