The Sharing Community organized its annual feast on Christmas Day to help fill plates and stomachs.

The feast was held at St. Johns Church in Yonkers.

"We have a lot of people here who are not connected to anyone, not connected to family they may have lost loved ones. So we take a little time out of our day to provide a festive occasion so show them that we also appreciate them., says Nadine Burns-Lyons, executive director of the Sharing Community. "Everybody counts."

The feast consisted of traditional foods, including turkey, mashed potatoes and string beans.
