A severe storm wrecked havoc on Westchester County Friday, drowning out roads and leaving thousands without power. The evening commute was especially impacted by the storms, as the Hutchinson River Parkway was brought to a standstill in both directions at Lincoln Avenue after downed trees blocked the roads.Local roads were also backed up with spill-over traffic from flooded highways.Metro-North riders were delayed at the Fleetwood Station when live wires fell onto the tracks during rush hour.?All of the sudden we just saw a huge lightening bolt come down,? said witness Javier Henriquez. The severe weather prompted city officials to set up a storm command center in Mount Vernon, one of the hardest hit areas.Officials have already begun to clean up debris left by the storm.
